The story is about a robot built by Hoshiko. Hoshiko promises Mimii that she will return one day, but in the mean time Mimii has to deal with the irrepressible Meca-chan (Hanasaki Meca).
Often this robot is very upbeat, and lacking social graces. She often doesn't know even her own strength.
Things to watch out for in this series are random references to previous manga that Takeuchi-sensei has done, or other manga in Nakayoshi that may be running at the same time.
There is more than one robot in the series, unfortunately there are no translations, so it's a bit hard to tell what's going on. When translations come in I'll report more!
Overall Toki*Meca looks like an upbeat comedic series full of love, friendship, and things to make one laugh set sometime in the future.
